Mourner

The old graveyard in the city of Sighișoara proved to be an ideal place for this shooting, even if it happened on a Sunday afternoon,

Self service

Calssara was one of the special guests at Otaku 2012 and she had a session talking about cosplay in her country, Germany. She told they never pay the photographers (as the photographers are the one needing to pay the models) and they prefer to learn and do the shooting and editing themselves, since after a 2 hours session, the photographer will give only 3 photos. It was not the time and place for me to try to intervene, telling how is a 2 hours session is a good thing if you get 10-15 good photos (publish worthy) and how bad photos are not useful for the model.
Actually I see this conflict: models pushing for all the photos (“I had a pretty smile in that one, does not matter my legs and arms are unflattering”), while the photographer refusing to put his name on pictures less than his intended level (any photo session, from any photographer, will produce some bad photos).
After all, Calssara do some decent pictures, so learning is always a good thing. Still, I think some people have to learn more about the TFCD concept.

Special cosplay guests

This year the Otaku anime festival had as special guests a few famous international cosplayers, which also served as members of the jury. I think is the first time this happens in a Romanian cosplay event.

Those cosplayers were also examples of quality cosplay, as you can see here, Calssara from Germany and Elffi from Finland:

And also Licorne from Hungary:

Hold/Squeeze

They are called sometime “funbags” because they supposedly are fun to hold and squeeze.

Bunny

If you are still under the dark impression from the mistress and gimp before, is probably the time to lighten with a sweet cute bunny. And a sexy bunny too.

Common language

Vienna, taking photos on the Danube river, a kid comes to me and ask me something in German. I know no German and try to reply in English, but he knows no English. Somehow we manage to have a very rough conversation, mainly using gestures and guessing words, he want to see my camera, what it is capable of and such. I ask for a pose and he wants and is joined by another kid. I take the photo when notice they talk with each other in… Romanian! A language all of us talk perfectly… natively. We talk a bit and then I have to go.

SMAEB 2012: Bebelușele

If SMAEB 2012 had its share of pretty girls (unfortunately, not that many as in previous years), it also had its special attraction, Bebelușele, the famous dancers from some TV show. They are pretty, but I think the previous Bebelușe were prettier and more photogenic.

SMAEB 2012: the girls

Bikes? Checked! Stunts? Checked! The other obligatory ingredient of a motorbikes show are the girls. Sitting on motorbikes, of course! So… Girls? Checked! …and I bet there is a cleavage that will get you impressed…

The girl, the oil can and the cars: a SIAMB conclusion

On the SIAMB 2012 grounds I meet my old friend Iulia working for a motor oil company. So we took a vintage-looking motor oil can and took a tour of the entire exhibition place, having a lot of fun, taking some photos, advertising the oil and the cars.

Run to me

Beside admiring the flowers, a beautiful evening in the park is also a good time to have fun: run, jump, sing, smile, laugh.

Charmed

She said she was charmed by the beautiful flowers which brought her is a dreamy state, it is probably so since the blossom was beautiful and the light almost perfect.

Hidden kiss

Wile everybody else was busy watching the blossom, this couple was busy with other spring matters 😀 Well, I am sure sooner or later they also noticed the cherry tree flowers, it was fitting their mood.

Hanami

Yesterday the Japanese cherry tree blossom (sakura) was probably at its best for this season in Bucharest: lots of flowers, beautiful sunlight, warm weather – anything you wanted from it.

And if everything was perfect, people were there watching and enjoying (Hanami is the traditional Japanese custom of viewing the tree blossom).
