Even if some may try to deny that, the winter is here and in full force.

After a solid mist session with plenty of interesting photos, I didn’t plan to revisit the theme soon. Still, in the evening the mist returned and I had no choice.

Minimalist pictures with nature surrounded by mist may not be everyone’s cup of tea, good thing the park is filled with people, so I could take some more animated street photos.

For the last month I watched every morning waiting for some autumn specific mist to appear. Finally, it happened today and it was beautiful – good opportunity for me to spend a couple of hours shooting in the nearby park.

Just a simple evening walk

I noticed this scene passing by it, unfortunately the picture didn’t came exactly as intended: had to move fast so nobody will complain I shoot trough the fence of a kindergarden (no matter how innocent the picture was).

This image was a pilot for a “Parenting” project. Depending on its success and received feedback, it may transform in a whole series. There are more related ideas in the pipeline.

I took part in a challenge: create the worst photo I am able to, is a test of creativity where you have to create a picture containing as many mistakes as you can. Even if it may appear easy, is not at all: first you have to take care, if one mistake is too big, it will overpower the others, and they won’t be noticed any more. Second, some mistakes may cancel each over. Lastly, abuse of mistakes shouldn’t get into art territory.
Now I challenge my readers: look at the picture and try to identify as many mistakes as you can (maybe you find even some which are not intentional :p)
Bonus: here’s a video making of for the picture, so you can understand the extra difficulty when the subject is moving so fast and so unstable.
PS: also an extra-difficulty was having such a cute subject, which may make some people appreciate the picture even if it is bad.

The fearsome dragon is in town. Most likely quite soon a little hobbit will make his presence too.

The little horsie is alone in the street, still his owner is not far away.

The red light usually means “stop”, “no go”, as it was the case here.

I had the opportunity to take some pictures of the Basarab Bridge in Bucharest just a few moments after sunset.

One of them is taking off from the ground. Sooner or later, the others will do the same.
