This photo, from the park candids set is so close but still failed, it could have been framed a lot better. But there is one thing to learn: you must master the wind and the result is revealing.

There was this show in Piata Constituției, like a big commercial for the energy drink, but I figured it can be a good opportunity for some interesting shots, so I visited the place (not only for bikes and acrobatics, but also for some candids, will post later about those).

For quite a while I took a lot of candids and was not sure about publishing some of them… well, a chain of recent conversations with people from various countries and genders made me to change my mind about that.
From a lot of angles Bucharest is a shitty city, this hit me heavily when returning from a short vacancy in Berlin, but still there are a few things on it streets making you feel comfortable at home, here are a few such snapshots gathered over the past year:

So you are a photographer… you have some things to to in the center of he city when a heavy rain, a storm, start falling down. Of course you take out your camera, move into a place where you are covered enough so the rain will not damage the camera or cover the lenses and start shooting left and right. Don’t the wet girls look nice?

For me (and also for other photographers I know) is hard at time to overcome the shyness and take public (street and not only) photos of people when they can notice you. And I try hard (but is really difficult) to get past of it, as many people (and especially women that are confident in their beauty) will react positively, smiling back at you.
