“19 Reasons” by Aromatic Company was one of the spectacles happening in the street at the Bucharest International Theatre Festival, B-FIT. I saw their show twice: one time in the Colțea Square and another time on the Lipscani Street, the pictures are from the second one, where my station point was better.

B.FIT, the Bucharest International Theatre Festival, closed with a big parade, part of it was the parade of Latin dance schools, with samba, salsa, capoeira, bachata and more. There were some costumes making you think of Rio de Janeiro.

The two fashion design students prepared each one their graduation, by creating a line of clothes, both of them inspired by the Visual Kei style, J-Rock and Japanese culture.

Laura‘s collection was more towards manga and anime, which characters playing their roles in a story.

Cristina went more the music way, the characters were j-rock stars:

Overall, everyone worked hard, designers, models, helpers, for the image to come well.

As I said before, the Caragiale festival is happening in the old city of Bucharest and is going to last all summer long, now it was an adaptation upon a series of his sketches.

There are so many images from the Bucharest International Air Show 2012 which took place last week-end at the Băneasa airport and they are everywhere, that I think everybody is probably bored by now, so my post will be short, concise and NOT focused on colored fog trails.

Last weekend in the evening we passed trough the Old City when I remembered about the Caragiale festival taking place there in the streets. The festival opened just a few days before and a detour was in order to see what is about, but in the way to it we encountered this couple, going in the same direction (they looked at the play less than one minute and left) – they were perfect for the setting, if Caragiale would be alive, such people would be the heroes of his comic writings.

In the street, the Masca Theatre was playing an adaptation upon Caragiale’s “O noapte furtunoasă”, which the audience seemed to enjoy (Caragiale has only a few plays and some of his shorter pieces may be theatrically adapted, but will that be enough for 100 representations, as advertised?). This one was a strange adaptation, with white costumes (more like the living statues the Masca actors do often) and with Caragiale himself introduced as a character in the play.

I can’t get out of my head the above-mentioned couple and it fitting in the scene, the tough (and rich?) guy getting his “demoiselle” in the city center to see “comedies” (or more like her dragging him there) and she being like…. like in that picture, which does not need much words. They say Caragiale live forever among us.

This year the Otaku anime festival had as special guests a few famous international cosplayers, which also served as members of the jury. I think is the first time this happens in a Romanian cosplay event.

Those cosplayers were also examples of quality cosplay, as you can see here, Calssara from Germany and Elffi from Finland:

And also Licorne from Hungary:

Can I say “multipaaaaasss!!!”?

After last november I assisted to the Frames of Style first edition, now this fusion event, consisting mainly by fashion, but also including contemporary art, interior design and video art, had a second edition. The first fashion presentation was a collection by Sandra Chira:

Then followed a collection designed by Sandra Galan:

The fashion show closed with a collection designed by Irina Irimia and featuring accessories by Ashley Scott:

They may say photography is easy, all fancy and glamour, but taking pictures is art and also hard work: you have to keep your both hands on the camera, eyes sharp, focus correctly, frame right, take care of the light, click the buttons and so on. Not easy, trust me, I am a photographer.

They are called sometime “funbags” because they supposedly are fun to hold and squeeze.

If you are still under the dark impression from the mistress and gimp before, is probably the time to lighten with a sweet cute bunny. And a sexy bunny too.

No, is not about that GIMP I use all the time to edit my photos, is about the tipe of gimp that will obey his mistress and get dominated in the process.
