One nasty, another one not so much… that the excitement is supposed to be built… the big photodump is coming

Beware, huge bridal photoshot incoming, including a lot of candids and playful poses, here’s a teaser (technically, this was NOT a candid, since she was aware of my doings):

If you follow my photography blog, you already know that, I am a perv and if there are any panties in the visual reach, I will shot them, or at least try to… So the last week-end, I was surrounded not only by beautiful cleavages but also by panties… here are some:

As a "respectable" photographer I naturally enjoy seeing a beautiful cleavage, be it on street or at a fashion show, so the past week-end at Expo Mariaj I couldn’t stop admiring the abundance and a famous Seinfeld quote came to mind "… And by the way…they’re real, and they’re spectacular." Can’t vouch for the "real" party, as unfortunately I didn’t get the opportunity to touch them, but "spectacular" indeed they were.

If I read this photo correctly, her eyes say she was fully aware what shot I was trying to take, but her smile say she has no problem with that! Thank you very much 😀 Want to see a video with her singing?

Before selecting the photos into relevant categories and adding witty comments, I will follow the teaser with a short video:
Again, I am sorry for the music… that was happening on the floor. And I, once again, lost my last hope into humanity, seeing how those beautiful women are happy with that crappy music…

I am sitting on a ton of photos from the past weekend at the Expo Mariaj fair in Bucharest and I am swamped with work and having very little time to allocate to photo sorting and publishing. To make the wait more interesting, here is a sneak preview, the very first thing I photographed on the grounds. Isn’t great? And she was here before make-up and such…

Back in the hot and sunny winter days I used to walk around the parks and take photos of people skating (roller skating, that’s is). Now in cold winter days, what I am supposed to to? Right! Walk around the parks and take photos of people skating (ice skating, of course). And this is not hard to to, since there are quite a few skating places in the city.

Nice enough, right? But now the question is, what you like better, summer or winter?

One of the concerts I saw at Bucharest Days was “Balade din Carpati” (“Carpathian Ballads”) by K1 and Felicia Filip: not sure what was their target with such an interesting combination of modern, classic and traditional music, maybe they wanted to cash in on the Nightwish success, maybe they were awed by Therion or something else… the point is: it was interesting but to use a well known expression: “close, but no cigar”.
First of all, I should acknowledge the sound system in the street was total crap (it was crap also a night before when Mircea Baniciu performed together with Vladi Cnejevici, and that was folk music, where everyone knew the songs), so the experience was far from optimal.

First of all, the K1 band cannot hide its roots in a boy bad: they sing, move and dace like a boy band and this is ….bleah. They were the lowest point of the show, their dance stuff destroy all the symphonic metal stuff.
Then the “story teller”, Vlad Radescu, he can’t hold a candle to Christopher Lee in Symphony of Enchanted Lands II by Rhapsody of Fire. But, honestly, who can hold a candle to Saruman? He do not even tried: no cavernous voice, no magic, no nothing. I do not care about the joyful voice of a bald guy.
Felicia Filip did her best, she is a great soprano with an amazing voice, no complaint about her.
What I think was the highlight of the show was Cornelia Tihon, she is really great with the Pan flute (and other woodwind instruments, like regular flute or tulnic, she also has some extraordinary legs and is not afraid to show them on stage.

I will hold a final conclusion until I hear a show in better acoustic conditions (YouTube is full of recorded clips from various concerts, do a search and apply your own judgement), but my initial bias is not very positive, I was disappointed.

I didn’t understand the purpose of Malaysian dances at the Bucharest Days festivities, but just like the rest of the audience I found them hot. And I guess this is all that matter.

My bad joke is like: if her name is not Enache already, it should be. Laptaria lu’ Enache. Sorry, but I think she its impressive and I believe all natural. +1.
I tried hard to get the best shot, so hard that in the end I got noticed, which reduced the "candid" impact. So is life… too many people crossing the road, not enough chanced for a clear shot.

A loot of my candid shots are taken on a certain bridge in the Herastrau Park (a favorite spot), just like the one below: either with people passing by or looking down at the boats below. But there is also an ugly side: last Sunday, don’t know how, I had my lens hood falling in the water… I don’t know to swim and even so, I would not swim in that water, so it lost… time to buy another one!

A reader of my photography blog may already know I am trying to master the wind, with a various degree of success. Last week-end I was so close… but still no cigar.

A second take on the "you must master the wind" lesson and (coincidence?) this is taken minutes and effectively a few meters away (the same part of the Herastrau Park) from the first part, it must be exactly the same nasty wind, as it was the same nasty photographer.
