We wish you a happy new year for 2017!

I know this is more of a donkey, but simply couldn’t resist the silly title. Hello!

I found this old picture made with a crappy camera… I may not look exactly like it now, but that’s how I feel inside, so here is a season greetings from the Evil Santa: “choke on your Festivus, have a bloody Xmas and a fucking New Year!”

What I do when nothing to do? Beside buying books and being lame? I buy toys of course! And my latest toy is this AK 47 (Kalashnikov)
Aye, i got this new toy, the pirate flag, ignore this crappy self-portrait made without a tripod and in a cloudy, ugly day… Me have in mind some real ideas about usin’ it. Stay tuned, it may get pretty. Gar.

I can shot with no hands and there is the proof. Sure, the framing is really bad (in this position you can’t see the viewfinder) and the focus is not good either, but that is beside the point.

They are two of my new friends, the black and the silver (there is one more black, for “bullet time action) and I was deeply pissed, I think it shows:

This self portrait has a lot of flaws (position of the background, an unwanted shadow, not the best focus and light) but it was fun and some more will follow.
I like to pretend is a Level 1 Fallen Paladin, beginner with the sword and who has to kill rats to get enough experience and advance some levels. Maybe then he will be able to master the sword, learn some magic or even multi-class, but that is wishful thinking :p

Another self portrait experiment is far from good photography, it is more about the fusion about two type of graphics: photography and illustration. So there is the basic decision, good versus evil. What’s your bet?

My home work for this week at the photography course is a self portrait so I have to experiment with a kind of photos I do rarely (I like to do portraits, not to myself). This is why here the focus is on the toys, the activity, not on my face.
