For the last week-end of the Bucharest Days for 2011, on the stage on Lipscani street they had a Spanish group, named Malasangre5 (is this the 5 bad bloods? they were only 4…) singing and dancing flamenco, and they were not bad at all:

Sunday in Bucharest we had the schools parade (primary and high schools), which gathered on the streets of Bucharest some tens of thousands of young people (I heard an estimate of 20000, but think it was conservative, from the middle of it, they seemed many more). The demonstration was opened by a group of cheerleaders, of which I am going to post some pictures:

I expect my readers who are actually Indians to go ballistic on me for the title, but is not my fault, my fellow photographer, Flori, and the model, Mia, set the idea, theme, accessories and details of this shot, I just happened to be around and take photos. Last week I had a photo session with Iulia near the railroads (more photos will come in later posts) in this unexpected place inside the city (yes, still inside the Bucharest city limits). See, she can be sad, happy, hopeful… and always sexy.

This contact lenses photo session was in the planning for a long time and last week-end the client (is made for an online store selling cosmetic contact lenses) finally made it happen. For the final product the images won’t be used like this, but as crops closed to the eyes, to better show the products. But we don’t sell stuff here, this is about beauty…

When you have it in your blood, you can’t stop, you have to make this type of photography, so even if a Flowers Day at Village Museum didn’t seem like the place for it, I managed to see those girls taking each other photos with a small compact, stepped in and helped with my gear:
