If the premier hipster event in Bucharest is Street Delivery, there had to be a copycat, that’s what hipsters do, copy the “alternative” things. Happening only a week after, Femei pe Mătăsari (Women on Matasari) has pretty much the same feel with Street Delivery, many of the booths are in both places, still this one is more commercial, there are a lot of sellers offering their hand-made wares, from clothes to earrings to cupcakes. At they don’t even have beer, only radler.

They may say photography is easy, all fancy and glamour, but taking pictures is art and also hard work: you have to keep your both hands on the camera, eyes sharp, focus correctly, frame right, take care of the light, click the buttons and so on. Not easy, trust me, I am a photographer.

If SMAEB 2012 had its share of pretty girls (unfortunately, not that many as in previous years), it also had its special attraction, Bebelușele, the famous dancers from some TV show. They are pretty, but I think the previous Bebelușe were prettier and more photogenic.

I am no religious person (by the contrary!) but surely I can enjoy a holiday: a free day from work and good food, that’s not something to pass 😀 And if I kind of celebrate the Easter, I should probably join it’s spirit… not with candles, prayers, priests or shit like that but with bunnies! Here’s a recently took picture of bunnies, enjoy 🙂
Note: in Romania the Easter is celebrated by the christian orthodox calendar and this year it takes place one week after the catholic holiday.
